Absolutely beautiful place to go visit. Having walked round the dam on numerous occasions I'm never disappointed with the calm and gorgeous scenery. A wee gem in Clackmannanshire. Highly recommended

Lovely circular walk - dog loves it - it would be good if there was a few more seats for relaxing/viewing scenery. Cafe at the beginning or end of trip good if wanted.

A pleasant waterside and woodland walk close to Alloa. Plenty of benches and picnic tables, and a coffee shop.

This is my local spot for my sunday morning run, come hail or shine. Lovely fresh air in breath taking surroundings. Is usually pretty quiet so the peacefulness of the area is not disturbed. Good cafe to stop off in for a bite to eat.

Never seen before and first time visited this 3 mile circular walk in the fresh country air. Excellent and not over busy on our visit. Cafe on site is privately run serving excellent quality food and worth a try.

A beautiful place. Lovely walk round and an added bonus of coffee on completion. Saw a heron and lots of wee birds and ducks. We'll definitely be back

This was an unexpectedly lovely walk all the way around the lake. It’s 3 miles and took us an hour walking at a leisurely pace. It would be great if there could be signposts where other paths branch off as we’d love to go back...More
