This is my local spot for my sunday morning run, come hail or shine. Lovely fresh air in breath taking surroundings. Is usually pretty quiet so the peacefulness of the area is not disturbed. Good cafe to stop off in for a bite to eat.

Never seen before and first time visited this 3 mile circular walk in the fresh country air. Excellent and not over busy on our visit. Cafe on site is privately run serving excellent quality food and worth a try.

A beautiful place. Lovely walk round and an added bonus of coffee on completion. Saw a heron and lots of wee birds and ducks. We'll definitely be back

This is a busy route popular with wlakers, runners and cyclists with narrow paths at certain sections but is worth a visit for some fresh air. Now has a good coffee shop.

Beautiful place. Great walk around it. Dog loves it 🙂. Only thing is that the wee cafe shuts around 5 even on light beautiful summer evenings when country park is busy.

Signs seem to indicate you can walk around the whole lake but it seems to leave the lake half way around so we just walked back. Very peaceful

Went for a gentle stroll around part of the Dam today. It was not too warm and under the trees very pleasant. The disabled buggy couldn't go too far as the path is not suitable all the way round neither wouldctge battery last. Had very...More
