Great setting but dreadful administration. Access road is like a river in wet weather as are the paths.

We actually stayed in a flat overlooking the loch, so we had the benefit of gorgeous views every morning and evening. There's lots of walks in the area and it was great to just sit on the bank with a drink of an evening.

This old building and its surrounding land, is, step by step, being restored to its former glory by a dedicated team of volunteers. It has become a fantastic venue for weddings, functions or just walking your dog

It is a hidden gem for walks around the loch. Can be a bit muddy boots required!!! Has great events at different times of the year. A lovely place to visit when in Selkirk and dogs love it!!!!

Hiking boots required as can be very muddy in places. Not a very long walk maybe 20-30 minutes but very beautiful
