It's a nice drive to Cardrona village and along the river to the Kailzie Gardens and Kailzie Fishery. Plenty of free parking space there.

I've only recently been introduced to the fishery and that's a pity. It's accessable, has good parking, an excellent shop with a good range of fishing tackle, snacks and drinks and the sizeable lake is stocked regularly.
