Pleasant gardens but cafe and entrance fee expensive. Fine for pre-schoolers but not terribly engaging for children otherwise.

What a lovely place, the gardens are gorgeous, lovely walks around too. We were very pleased to see it was one of the few gardens where dogs are allowed. Well worth a visit, nice tea room as well

These gardens are well worth a visit if you are in the area. An almost circular walk takes you into a fabulous walled garden, including a separate rose garden - the gardeners do a marvellous job keeping it tidy. There are two small glass greenhouses...More

Very pretty garden & nice glass houses. Set in super countryside. Great cafe with friendly staff & carefully thought out menu. Even brought us an electric fan! Overall a great afternoon.

Always worth a visit when in the area with the hills providing a lovely backdrop. Well maintained but I wish they would reduce the grass cutting in the wilder areas and let the wild flowers flourish.

£5. The gardens may be worth it but stay well clear of the cafeteria, very poor hygiene standards. The toilet had no hand cleaning liquid/lotion. A nearby alternative is Dawyck. Much higher standards.
