An extensive gardens with mature trees , a private house, private chapel, sculptures and lots of azaleas, rhododendrons. We spent over an hour even at this time of the year going round before it started to rain a bit. I got some half price snowdrops...More

this year everything is late in blooming, and so are these gardens. but it was exceptional to see them under snow, with buds about to come out. will be back later in the year

Well laid out botanical garden with a lovely cafe at the entrance. Great home cooked food. Lots of well labelled mature specimen trees with good paths to take you round. We loved the snowdrops on banks by the burn.

Good for a walk in april and may not great value for money in February in hindsight as not a lot of flowers appart from masses of snowdrops

Sorry but I am not sure. I did not see any dogs there when we were, but I cannot remember seeing any signs prohibiting them.
