Really as good as it gets MTB trails in the UK (for all levels). We have stayed many times in the Wigwams and it is always great fun.

Glentress is the most diverse of all the 7 stanes as it genuinely has something for everyone: Blue Route: - Very basic understanding of mountain biking needed e.g. using gears and brakes properly. Front suspension bike more than capable but you’ll need to be of...More

We came across this by chance and took the opportunity to explore. Huge free car park, well signposted walking and cycle trails. Beautiful scenery. We were also fortunate that it was a beautiful sunny day.

Brilliant trails, never fail to thrill. Enjoy the Freeride area, can't wait to see what they are building at the top of the Freeride. Nice café at the bottom of the trails, reasonably priced. Reasonably priced parking. Also have a go ape here now.

Good trails but poor signage in places. If you are not familiar with the trails and are trying to link different sections of the graded trails together it's not easy to do so. Some of the signs have arrows but don't say if it's an...More

These are by far the best mountain bike trails I have had the pleasure of riding. What made it that bit more memorable was the fresh powdering of snow that had settled on the pistes the night before, making this a majestically scenic ride. The...More

We love Glentress for a family ride. This year we hit the red route and the routes down are well worth the climb. There are options to miss sections if you’re struggling too! Blue route is also really good. Berm Baby Berm is a real...More

Absolutely love Glentress, great facilities, easy access and always a friendly atmosphere. Bike rental is available if you don't have your own bike but recommend that you pre-book. Great mixture of green/blue/red/black trails and the orange graded skills area. Something for everyone. The blues are...More

There are separate waking trails you would be able to use for dog walking, some areas might require more caution where forest paths are shared between both bikes and walkers.

We had a great stay at the Lindores Guest House (B & B) in Peebles! We could place our bikes in their garage.
