A great inexpensive place to eat. Sandwiches excellent, and the jacket potatoes are tasty. Tea good. Quiet - toilets clean. Stair only though. Did not see any sign of a lift. Cafe on 1st floor. Shop area great for gifts.

Excellent pot of normal breakfast tea here. Pleasant staff, but rather tired decor spoilt the ambience. Very good spotless lavatory.

Enjoyed a pleasant lunch here last week, the cafe is extremely clean and tidy and even has tablecloths! The soup was nice but took rather a long time to arrive, other cafés have it available immediately. However would return for lunch again.

Lovely cafe above the shop. Nice bright room with lots of big tables. Very well maintained. Breakfast was cooked to order, scrambled eggs among best I've had. Good quality ingredients and good portions. Staff very friendly and attentive.

An Edinburgh Woollen Mill labeled operation. Good selection of items nicely set out in the shop. There is parking available for half a dozen cars. But easy walking distance from Melrose town centre. Morning tea including fresh scones in the spacious upstairs cafe was very...More

Went in here after a pleasant walk around Melrose, initially to buy some souvenirs, but discovered the tea room upstairs and had a tasty snack. The tearoom is large, if a bit dated, but the staff are friendly and the food good. They had a...More

Visited tearoom within the woollen mill. Staff friendly and service was quick but prices for teas, coffee, bakery were a little expensive. Don't think we will return as nicer and more reasonable tearooms in the town.
