If you are passing this way the viaduct is well worth a stop. Its amazing how viaducts like this are still looking magnificent after so long.

Didn't know about the Leaderfoot Viaduct until we drove part it. Had to do a u-turn to go back to investigate. It’s quite impressive, if you are passing by Melrose make sure you see this great viaduct.

kodak moments - the old railway viaduct, an even older very attractive road bridge, now a walkway and the modern road bridge crossing a stretch of the Tweed with the solitary salmon fisherman. Coud picnic there.

We had extra time on tour and stopped to see these two bridges. A big wow and s undocumented stop but welcomed. Slight rain but ok

This was one of the sights on our guided tour to the Roman Fort from Melrose. Lovely views and a great walk by the lovely Donald with welcome tea and biscuits courtesy of the ladies at Newstead village hall.

We rode by the Viaduct on our 3 day bike ride along the 4 Abbeys Route. There were several fisherman in the river below.
