Short but sweet trip, got to see a salmon farm and when the seals were not at their usual haunt, we were taken to another colony to ensure we weren’t disappointed. Guide was funny, think Allan’s son was giving his Dad a rest day. Recommended!

A nice wee trip out from Oban Harbour to see a colony of Common Seals. Took about 1 hour and plenty of photo opportunities. Slight concern that the safety briefing consisted of being shown how to put on an adult size life jacket - no...More

I'm very sorry if I didn't give enough information on this specific trip I do try to squeeze as much information into the hour I'm given, as for the life jackets the children life jackets are the exact same specification to our adult sized life...More

We took an hour’s tour to see seals and other wildlife. The boat was clean and looked well maintained, and the tour guide was knowledgable about the wildlife that we saw and pointed out landmarks. He did disappear into the wheelhouse for rather a long...More

Nice boat ride out to a little island to see the seals and past a salmon farm. Tour guides were friendly and was quite informative although a little more history throughout the boat ride would have been good. Either way, great trip, recommended.

Although we live north of town - we had never been on the Seal Trip from Oban Bay. We had a day out in town and thought - why not? It's a great trip out of the bay and round seal island past the salmon...More

It’s easy to see bits of the bay from land but going out on one of these boat tours is a sure fire way of getting a great view of the surrounding waterways and a chance to have a beautiful panoramic view of Oban from...More

We had a great time, not too many people on the boat and the commentary was very informative. Not many seals but that was not the fault of Allan or his crew. They could not magic up sea life when it was not there.

The trip was a theft. There were no seals and we didnt get any money refund. It was a loss of time. I wouldnt come back of courseMore

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience, I'm more than certain that the member of the crew would have said their was a Chance that there would be no seals especially for the time of the year. The seals we visit on our trips...More

We had a great time on Allan's boat, the boat was comfy, with not too many people on the trip, so we all had great views. Our host was funny, informative and personal which was great - felt like sailing with friends! My children were...More
