The club pro and members were very welcoming indeed, but the course is the most physically demanding l have ever played. There is hardly a flat lie and if you are not on the fairway you have little chance of finding your ball. I never...More

I golf around 60-70 rounds a year and have a 22 handicap. I'm pretty fit. I liked this course, but I am not sure that everyone would. It is a full 18 hole course (many in Scotland are 9 holes you play twice). It's really...More

This golf course is a very different experience. My wife and I, both in our seventies, and still playing to reasonable handicaps { 14 and 19 } turned up on spec and were very warmly welcomed by a member of the club to whom we...More

Lovely course with super friendly members. Very quiet on the Monday but there is an honesty box in place. Fortunately we were able to get a trolley because carrying would have been a challenge. If you follow the earlier advice to leave some clubs behind...More

Quirky, challenging, breathtaking. Where to start? This is a relatively short course (62 off the Yellows), but will challenge the unprepared or unaccompanied. I was fortunate to be joined by a member (Joe), who pointed me in the right direction - and graciously let me...More

So first of all, this golf course might have the best greens in Scotland. Having played gleneagles and the old course to name a few, I have genuinely never seen greens in such great condition and with such thoughtful design. The starter warned us when...More

This golf course is one of the nicest I think I have ever played. It is beautiful with some stunning backdrops. It is very hilly but definitely worth playing. The course is kept in great condition considering the size and slopes of the course. I...More

Welcoming and friendly club. Electric trolley hired, you need it to pull you round as well as the bag. Leave half your clubs, you won't need them. 10 par 3's this must be easy. Only if you are a mountain goat. While I found it...More
