I couldn't believe how many exhibits were jammed into this small museum. The man looking after it was very chatty and knew a lot about the island

A very well informed curator of the museum. Having lived there for quite some time herself. A well presented museum with plenty of artefacts to give you a real feel for the hard life of those inhabitants during the slate mining period.

Fascinating little museum, packed with interesting photos and artefacts, and staffed by a really friendly islander who was happy to chat and answer our questions. A magical wee place to visit!

This is a small museum absolutely packed with exhibits. Staffed by knowledgeable volunteers it is worth a visit. Located close to the village pub where food and drink can be had. The whole village is worth a walk around.

So much information in such a small place. Maybe a little cramped but they had so much to tell us they couldn’t have done it any other way.
