This is a really good introduction to the effect of the anti submarine activities base in Oban during the second world war. It also has much local army and regimental information

A very informative museum with friendly volunteers to answer questions. There is a video presentation which shows the main things around the museum for those that can't walk far, although the museum is all on one floor, ground level. Lots of information. Free, as well

This was the first place we visited in Oban and we are glad we did. There were great nuggets of information in the displays and videos that shaped our days activities for the next three days.
