Used in the Monty Python And The Holy Grail film in 1975 (Yes that long ago!), is this very picturesque castle. Worth a stop if your in the area. Consider also looking up the other attraction (Castle Stalker View Cafe) for a good view and...More

We came across this castle on the way to Oban (from Glencoe). The sun was setting behind the castle and the colours reflected in the surrounding water. It was stunning! It was so beautiful we had to stop and check it out! Don't plan to...More

This was the best castle tour I experienced. Small group and entertaining and informative host. It takes some planning and advance reservations to take this tour, but it was well worth it.

Wonderful scenery with this majestic castle stuck on the Loch ! Visits are organized by very small boats, all information can be found at the Castle Stalker View Cafe.

Didn’t do the tour but, like others, we stopped at the cafe which has a lovely view of the castle. Castle is in a nice setting and given blue skies and sunshine would be very photogenic.

Did not do the tour but did the country walk (Jubilee Walk) to get there, which was great fun and lots of wild life to see and view the castle from the banish of the Loch. Very impressive building and in its day very important....More

This is our 6th Scotland trip and we have passed by Stalker perhaps 8 or 9 times in our travels. But never has our timing and the tides coincided. We have seen the castle from the viewpoint at the Cafe at the top of the...More
