We stopped overnight here and what a beautiful place, walked the dog along the path and was taken by the sheer beauty. Staff manning the lock gates are the most helpful and pleasant people you could meet. The food was outstanding and very well priced...More

We spent a very agreeable time having coffee and an ice cream below the Crinan Hotel by the side if the lock. There were comings and goings and plenty of attractive craft to admire.

If I hadn’t been told by a friend to visit I’d never have thought to go. The road goes down to single track with passing places but persevere, go beyond the hotel and arrive at the car park. The views are stunning. There’s a nice...More
