There was a crafts show on in the Guild Hall. Fantastic stalls and the architecture was fabulous. Stain glass windows all around. Fascinating building to be in.

A really interesting and well thought out exhibition is available on the ground floor. Also interesting are the rooms on the 1st floor. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. A memorable building with a checkered history.

I think as I can remember there is a throne on the 2nd floor where you can sit and there is a cape/robe you can put on. Possibly? Ask the lady at reception desk.
