When visiting Derry one should at least walk the walls. There is ample information on history that goes way back and very recent. We choose to do in by ourselves but I know that guided tours would tell you lots more. just do it

Every time I come into Derry-Londonderry I walk the walls. You are walking through the history of Ireland. There are few cities left like this in the British Isles. A definite must-see.
