A beautifully furnished grand house. The house also holds an intriguing story of the Ward family. The Guide was very informative and knowledgable. We also enjoyed a nice pot of tea in the coffee shop. We really enjoyed our visit.

Took my daughter to the Winterfell Festival for £25 each. Mark Addy was great but they had a stall where you could sign up for archery and we did but then realised it was £10 each on top of the £25, which was not mentioned...More

It’s been a while since I’ve been inside but it’s looking good. The house is set in extensive grounds which really warrant a separate visit. You could easily spend a morning and an afternoon here.

We lost one day. We were in Letterkenny going to Dublin and decided to take the extra 400 km to visit this famous castle of Winterfeld. There is nothing that can really remind the series. The farmyard is does not look really like the castle,...More

We visited Mount Stewart on Monday and didn’t have a great experience on the house tour. Thankfully, Frank the tour guide was much more informative and interacted more with the group which made the experience a lot better than the previous one! Castleward is a...More

Even though this is the area where "Winterfell" from Game of Thrones was filmed. This should not be your only incentive to visit this beautiful old castle with stunning vista's. You will be blessed by the beauty of this area. This is well worth a...More

It is entirely possible, to do,just a short tour of The GoT attractions without eating into a whole chunk of your visit. They are all fairly close to each other.
