The children's play park is located at the car park, (they tend to just run out, be careful), toilets to the side and two food vans were present also, as there is no cafe. Map clearly states distance of walking and bike trails, terrain etc....More

My partner and I stayed in the park at the caravan site this weekend. We enjoyed the walks around the forest. Would defenetly go back and stay.

great forest walk for all ages, A lot of different walks which are marked at diferent levels according to your fitness. Beautiful walk along side the river and different wildlife including reindeer Also well equipped caravan and camping sites

Great place to exercise your dogs and yourself, however they are not allowed inside the rare breeds farm section. Gosford Castle is also nice to look at and was featured as Riverrun in GOT.

I lived in the castle for 2 months back in 2014. The castle is private but you can get some good pictures as you walk the estate. Lots of lovely walks especially in autumn. A deer park, wildfowl area and arboretum are all on site....More

There are BBQ areas and firepits (rock circles ). I have seen camp fires lit .... best to ask the wardens when you arrive though.

as connor has stated there are a few lakes close by or there is also the bann river that runs through Portadown, its about 15 min drive away. its course fishing and there are numerious good pitches to fish from to the rear... More
