Cold windy day but that can't be helped. Sought some shelter at the riverside which was better. Nice wide sandy beach with lovely views to the north

Beautiful beach for a reasonably long walk with stunning views of Rathlin and the coast line. Very clean and has a great bridge out onto the rocks at the furthest point from Ballycastle... great walk to earn that pint of guiness in O'Connells

Superb clean and wild beach with stunning scenic views all directions. Not to be missed. Head for Morton’s in the harbour for fish n chips after - or even the other way round!

With a river running into the bay and 2 seas meeting the waves and swells are magnificent..The view of the nearby cliffs and Rathlin Island on a clear day complete this stunning place.

I have never seen rollers so big. 9 tides meet in the bay hence the massive swell. Lovely beach walk and views. to the other side is the pretty harbour and the Rathlin islnd ferry port
