Visited the jazz bar during the bank holiday weekend and although the atmosphere and quality of drinks was very good we were let down by the service. As a cocktail bar I'd expect to wait 15 minutes for drinks but we were having to wait...More

Food amazing. Music way too loud. We couldn’t hear each other. Surely dining is about each other not trying to lip read across the table. Tried this venue after avoiding it because of loud music. Shall avoid again. Pity cause food is fab.

Popped in for one knowing there would Jazz. Beer was nice. Music was great. Drinks were as dear as expected.

Over the years I've called into Bert's a few times for a cocktail, just as a treat. This was my first experience spending the evening there for dinner, using a wedding gift voucher we had acquired. We arrived an hour earlier and had really nice...More

Bert's Jazz Bar is a gem. The food and drinks were exceptional, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the jazz was smooth and lovely, and the place was hopping. The band even took requests, and we wrote down two, including the song we got married...More

Dinner and drinks last night was fantastic, great service, food was fantastic and we all really enjoyed the jazz. We opted for the second sitting. I will definitely be returning.

Yes it’s expensive but there’s a menu on the door and I think the food is good enough to hold up the price tag. The table staff work extremely hard to keep you fed and watered. The jazz is great and it’s a comfortable environment...More

A 5 piece Jazz band plays every week night at 9 that is true but maybe you would be interested in the fact there is a set on every Sunday with a solo pianist between 12 & 2pm? It's a very relaxed atmosphere.
