The boat goes from Bute Park to Cardiff Bay and then back to the city. It takes only half an hour to get to Cardiff Bay but the views are quite enjoyable. There can be a queue to get to the boat, so I highly...More

Reasonably priced trip from park to bay with audio guide to history and places on route. About 30 minute trip one way or you can stay aboard for round trip. Very informative, even saw kingfisher fly by.

Excellent way to get from the bay to the city centre, costs £4 per person and takes 30 mins, a recording plays during the trip giving you some interesting information about the area.

After a long day of walking it was nice to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. Not an express ride but very enjoyable for the tourist.

You can catch the boat in Bute park to the bay and vice versa. Good commentary. Lots to see along the way. Well worth the £4 one way fare.

Just inside the gate of Bute Park you will see signage for Princess Katherine with the boat schedule. It's a short walk to the pier where there is very limited bench seating. We were fortunate to have a bright sunny day, but the boat is...More

The boat leaves every 45 minutes. Unfortunately, it is not open air. The commentary was clear and interesting.

Thoroughly enjoyed this different mode of transport. It was lovely just going down the river and seeing Cardiff from a different angle. The staff were very friendly and assisted the elderly on and off the boat. I can highly recommend this mode of transport for...More

Thank you for your review. I would like to point out that there are two separate companies operating the river taff city service link. We are Cardiff Boat and operate the larger 90 seat passenger boat. We are not affiliated in any way. We are...More
