A great shame that this nice ale pub has become somewhat of a disco with the loud music turned up beyond what is bearable. Some nice ales but.....

Great traditional 'local' pub. Excellent real ales and a proper community atmosphere. Good music too, and obviously appreciated by the local clientele. Congratulations to Laura!

Had fish and chips here and a Sunday carvery, foods was really good, prices reasonable too, freindly staff and accommodated us without making a reservation.
