VERY well priced jamaican food and very tasty. Good portion sizes. get down and try it!!! .....and beer which just makes everything better

Have been many times with a pal who lives nearby, our first stop on the way into town. Very eclectic, a music pub but also does so much for the local community. Great real ale on offer, and always some fun chatting to the locals....More

The Chestnut is a great live music ale house, with a huge beer garden. It has a very eccentric landlord !

I went to the chestnut last night for the first time. What a great place. Live really talented rock band, lovely friendly bar staff, buzzy friendly customers all around, interesting decor, cool landlord, good selection of excellent beers, nicely chilled lager, parking at the front...More
