We received a lovely welcome. Jenni the Manager and my fellow punters were very friendly and we felt really at home. Our pack of dogs ( my friends 2 and my 3) were welcomed and we were encouraged to sample the different drinks available... Plenty...More

Walked up the massive flight of steps from the river & well worth it for a great cheap pint of Black Rat - less than £3 - & sat out the back watching hot air balloons take off from the Racecourse on the other side...More

A good range of real ales plus keg and lager and cider. As a pub should be - small; friendly; great views. Dogs welcome. Very enjoyable visit.
