Spent a few hours during the storm of 'Gareth' ! Nevertheless it was a brilliant time which created brilliant photography opportunities. I spent a short spell having a coffee and sausage roll in the café, albeit a little expensive. But the price is competitive considering...More

We fancied blowing away the cobwebs and couldn’t have asked for better. The views are amazing there is plenty to see and do. Lots of cheap parking - a truly enjoyable day out. Easy to get to and very good facilities

The view from the tower is awesome and well worth the money. The cafe is well worth the money if not a little expensive.

I arranged to stop off here as a mid way break on a long journey. I remembered the cafe as being nice and thought we could use the look and stretch our legs. Sadly we had to go elsewhere because it's £5 just to park...More

Thanks so much for your review. There seems to be a misunderstanding. Parking is £2 for 4 hours, which will be refunded against purchases, so in essence parking is free for our customers. You are quite right in saying the admission price to the park...More

This is a wonderful folly! Its a nice invigorating walk up ...maybe 45 minutes through fields. Dogs can go but there are horses, cows, sheep and deer on the way. The tower itself is well worth the trek but also up there is a brilliant...More

we were here on one of the warmest days in February and, while misty, the views from the top of the tower are spectacular. Lovely way to spend a morning taking in all the history of the tower

The car park is closed at 5:30 pm, but you can park in the lay-by just outside and walk up to the tower

Access after 5pm is restricted to public footpaths only and we ask that these are adheres to. The car park will also be closed after 5pm but there is a highway lay-by opposite the main gates for your car.
