There are plenty of nice shops, cafes and restaurants here. On a sunny day there is a lot of seating outside so a good place for a meal in the open air.

With so many cafes to choose from, you are spoilt for choice for lunch or dinner. Pick up a sandwich or salad for a picnic in the park. Or if you prefer a sit down meal Bella Italia offers affordable, delicious meals and drinks.

This is a very nice location to do some shopping and have a coffee or a snack. The architecture is Victorian and has been sympathetically renovated. As it is part of the modern railway station you can be in Paddington or Reading quickly.

Had a walk around after visiting the castle. Unique how some of the shops and restaurants are incorporated into the old railway station and concourse. Nice Selection of shops.

A lovely place to spend the day shopping, having lunch or just for a walk around. We window shopped and had a coffee with the view of the castle at one end and the river at the other. Just lovely.

What an absolutely lovely town with some fantasy cafe bars and shopping facilities. The parkings cheap enough with lots to do. A great day out visiting the Castle as well which is worth a visit although not too cheap...
