These gardens run parallel to the river near the coach park and have a new but old style bandstand, flower beds and a play area plus some toilets.

I would think you could! There are no rules on it and everyone does it nowadays. There is a lot of open space there so it could be done.

The park is dog friendly just ensure they are well behaved and you pick up their poop :)
