I’m writing to review my experience at the Halloween chocolate making workshop I visited today, I just wanted to say what a lovely session it was for me and my little boy who is 5. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Lewis was a really brilliant host and was very friendly and informative, we both really loved the session. My son is quite shy but Lewis put him at ease straight away and the whole session was fun and engaging and we ended up with some delicious chocolate at the end of it. If you’re thinking of booking the workshop you really should, thank you !

Great fun and you get to take away a goody bag of all the chocolates you have made. We went as two adults and two kids. The workshop included making bars (with flavours and fruit/nuts), dipped fruit, truffles and a hot chocolate stick. The chocolate itself is also good quality. Would recommend.

We just celebrated our daughters 7th birthday at Dr Chocs with a halloween workshop. We had 12 kids who all had an amazing time making halloween chocs. The staff were great with the kids telling jokes and making it all an enjoyable experience for all. After the work shop we were allowed use of the upstairs room for party food, cake & dancing. Would highly recommend Dr Chocs x

Had a gorgeous hour making several chocolates and bars with my ten year old son. It was just lovely doing something a little different in the hart of Windsor with him 1-2-1. Life can be so busy and we normally tag along to days out with family and friends, so just nice being the two of us. The lady who took our work shop was really informative and went at our pace . Admittedly it was a little pricy so will only be a one off for us but , we took home two lovely bags full of treats so I really can not moan . . Thank you x x

We celebrated at daughters 10th birthday at Dr Chocs on Saturday and we all had an excellent time.
Our daughter had four friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly, polite and showed a real desire to make it a great occasion. Us adults all thought the hot chocolate was one of the best we have had!
Well done to all. It is a great venue which should be supported.

My friends organised this event as part of a surprise birthday weekend away. It was so much fun! Lovely chocolate and really efficient staff running the workshop. We felt so welcome and loved every minute of our experience!

We had pre-booked the mother & child workshop for 4.30pm, but I think due to staff shortages they were running late and it was complete chaos.
The shop is very small and people have to walk through the workshop area to get to the seating area out of the back. As there is only about 1 metre width for you to stand, it does mean that you have to move out of the way for them to pass.
There are no areas to wash your hands and we were instructed to use hand sanitizer. The disposable hair capes are reused, which seems strange. The workshops was only 30 mins long, but you feel rushed. Even with them running late, they were still taking bookings for workshops within the next hour.
On the positive side, the young girls running the shop, workshops and cafe all worked hard and stayed cheerful throughout. I would say they need more staff, but I’m not sure where they would have fitted.
It wasn’t cheap @ £29.95 per person, so just shy of £60 for the two of us. You do get 3 bars of chocolate (postcard size), 3 Truffles and a hot chocolate stick each.

Hi Alison
Thanks for taking the time to review the workshop and apologise for the less-than-satisfactory experience. I agree with some points about the size of the shop. We ARE the world's smallest chocolate factory and at times it does get a bit cosy! The reason we don't wash your hands before the workshop is that moisture doesn't go well with chocolate. We do have a washbasin and do advise you to wash your hands after the workshop. It isn't cheap because the quality of chocolate is exceptional and it's organic, fair trade and palm-oil free. You also get a drink after the mother and child workshop.

The chocolatier factory was simply amazing, the chocolate was so rich in flavour and a reasonable prize, it was a unique and sensationally experience. They also have amazing customer service we were stuck in Windsor and they helped us unconditionally. We are planning on booking it for my brothers birthday party and would highly recommended it to anyone who wants great hospitality and amazing chocolate. We made 3 chocolate bars with unlimited topping so if your in the area please take a look for yourself.

What a great place to visit and do the workshop.
We had no idea what we were going to do other than create some chocolate!
What a great experience, the guys who looked after us were fantastic; the knew their stuff and guided us. They focused on the desire of the customer.
Whilst we were there, a lady and her two daughters were setting up a party and they did not suffer any lack of attention because we were there; the guys expertly divided their time between us and them.
Having tried the chocolate since we got home, it was delicious.

Hi Amanda
Thanks for your time. Glad that you found the staff friendly and liked the Coronation bar but I don't know which chocolate you found 'grainy' and what you mean by 'grainy' as we have never heard that for our chocolate before. Please email me at ramnikmathur@gmail.com
