We did a chocolate workshop with our 6 year old & she loved it! Freya who ran the workshop was fantastic & made it really fun. The kids made the bars from melted chocolate then decorated them with their choice of sprinkles, marshmallows etc. Located right in the centre, took about 20 mins & cost £15 (and you get a lot of chocolate!)

Nice little afternoon tea with wrap , scone , cakes and choc bark. Plenty of food for us washed down with a cuppa. Staff very attentive and polite. Nice view of castle - highly recommend .... bargain at £9 each on Groupon - thanks Dr Chocs

Every year I get my tailored made chocolate that is unique and of really high quality for my partner. The last couple of years I have bought at Dr Chocs as the customer service and quality of chocolate is superb.
I am fussy and look for the perfect gift and Dr Chocs provides, this year Arianna was fantastic ensuring my order was exactly what I asked for, reassuring that the details were all correct and the manager at Dr Chocs deserves praise for his skills as a chocolatier and hiring such great staff

Avoid at all costs! We visited today for a pre booked and pre paid voucher for my 30th birthday. Originally the voucher was booked through groupon, but due to lack of availability we called Dr Choc’s and we were advised to cancel the groupon voucher and Dr Choc’s would match the price paid on groupon and were able to give us a date that suited us.
On arrival, we started to check in for the afternoon tea and straight away the staff member came out with “ we need you to pay the extra amount” we politely stated that we have pre paid and explained the above scenario. Then what seemed to be a senior member of staff came over and her attitude was disgusting. She came across really smarmy about the situation and said well the deal shouldn’t of ever been that price. Which I replied with “ I’m sorry, but that isn’t our fault” her attitude towards the problem was so negative that we asked for a refund and walked out. As we walked out, I approached the lady and said “I find your attitude to customers disgusting” she replied by laughing and saying have a good day!!!!!
Very disappointing especially as we had our 7 months old baby with us, in what I have to say was a very non compliant social distanced shop entrance!!

Hi IJFG21
Many thanks for taking time for the review. We are never rude to customers. You were expecting an afternoon tea, which costs £26 to be given to you for £14, which I am afraid is not feasible in these difficult times. Best wishes.

Disappointed as this was not as advertised.
One small chocolate cake, with a mixture of mini cakes.
Hot chocolate was nice and hot, however we had to pay extra for cream etc
Also we payed updgrade for a small bottle of Prosecco each, but only revived half a glass of Prosecco, which I had ask for.
Also they did not seem to be expecting us a afternoon’s tea reservation, as the young lady asked us to go upstairs and if your table has not been reserved, sit at any table.
We could also only have one sandwich each, and not a selection, which you get at other afternoon teas.
Will definitely NOT be recommending this to anyone.

The actual chocolate workshop is amazing, the lady who ran our workshop was so lovely and was really good with the kids. There were lots of toppings to choose from for decoration.
The problem we had was with a case of miscommunication. We booked on line and when in the workshop it was full so a little bit on the noisy side and the lady was on the other side of the room so I didn’t hear what she said about the workshop we were doing. We did our chocolate bars and then She gave us some trays with some fruit and to dip. We’ve never been before and thought everyone would know what we were doing and guide us so thought this is what we were suppose to do so carried on.
It was then that it all got a bit awkward I noticed that there was a bit of an atmosphere and then a man was coming in and getting angry and then the lady running the workshop told us that was our experience over. We then left the workshop to be told by the man (maybe the owner) that we shouldn’t have done the fruit dipping and as a result he would like us to pay for it. Normally an extra cost on top of what I already paid of £16 per person but he would charge us £10 per person. So £50 for the 5 of us. Now I’m sure if we said no we weren’t going to pay there wasn’t much he could of done but as I said it was awkward and he really did make it feel like it’s our fault and we’re not awful people so we paid the extra £50. My kids won’t eat the fruit so this isn’t really something I wouldn’t have choose to pay for.
Now I’m sure this is slightly my fault too as I should have read everything and checked everything to know exactly what we were doing (it just says the name of the workshop on the email not details, so would need to read on website) but I assumed we would have been guided as it was all new to us. Such a shame as the experience could have been so lovely but the awkwardness made it not so great for us. I run a days out blog so love to review days out but never quite had this experience before. Shame as would have loved to recommend to our followers.
So our advice, if it’s busy make sure you know exactly what you are there to do as the person leading you won’t and you may end up having to pay more.

Hi
Apologies for this. We offered to take the chocolate you made as part of your workshop without paying anything extra. You chose to take the dipped fruits, so we had to ask you to pay extra for the material. Usually, it would be about £16 pp additional but we charged you £10 only. Anyway, I am glad that you enjoyed the experience and would love the amazing chocolates that you made :)

Dr Chocs provided a fantastic experience for my daughter's 8th birthday party. The kids loved making and decorating their own chocolate products and the staff were absolutely lovely. The chocolate is top quality and they package it up beautifully for them to take home. For kids who love chocolate and being creative, this is a superb party choice.

Came here for ice cream and we’re not disappointed.
Small selection of home made ice creams. Our group had carrot cake, raspberry sorbet and Eton mess and they were all amazing.
Staff were really friendly and even though we only had ice cream they still took the time to explain about the shop and workshop.
Would recommend.

We celebrated at daughters 10th birthday at Dr Chocs on Saturday and we all had an excellent time.
Our daughter had four friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly, polite and showed a real desire to make it a great occasion. Us adults all thought the hot chocolate was one of the best we have had!
Well done to all. It is a great venue which should be supported.

What a gem! We went before and after a trip to the theatre. There is a delightful little garden at the back where we had great coffee and delicious ice creams. The staff were lovely. It was difficult to choose from their many flavours, but I bought some of their wonderful spicy chocolate, which went far too quickly. I’m going to bring my granddaughters to have a go at making their own chocolate.

There is lots of general parking in Windsor but the cheapest is at Windsor and Eton Riverside station @ £5/day after 10am.
