This is a good venue. Especially for well known comedians trying out new material. Need to find out and book early. Bar is reasonable albeit a little overpriced.

Had heard about the Spitfire sim experiance in Australia. Made sure visiting the museum was on my to do list when in the UK. Having flown Cliffs of Dover, a WW2 Battle of Britain simulation for 2 years, I was very keen to jump in...More

It may be small but it makes up for it with the amount of local history on display. there are regularly special exhibitions. I visited the Royalty and Maidenhead exhibition which charts the connection between various monarchs and the town over the centuries. It makes...More

My son had 30 minutes on the excellent Spitfire simulator. He absolutely loved it, and the guidance from the instructor was spot on. Highly recommend this little place for anyone interested in aviation, particularly WW2 and the ATA.

This was an opportunity to experience...More

Small but most interesting museum type but also information centre. Includes a remarkable spitfire cockpit experience so slightly unusual.

I arranged a spitfire simulator flight for my husband’s birthday. We were made to feel so welcome and the tour of the exhibition was great. The flight was fab great fun. Would highly recommend.

We popped in pre football match. It’s laid out really well, has some excellent pieces and you can actually interact with a lot of it. Definitely worth a stop if you’re new to the area and want an overview of the history.

Visited with my daughter and was made to feel very welcome. The exhibition of the flyers who moved planes during the war was fascinating. The heritage centre is small but vibrant with enthusiastic staff and helpers who are uber keen to share the local history....More
