Eton College itself is nothing spectacular. It’s a private grade school for the rich and affluent. ...The best part actually is the walk on High Street. Compared to the crowded, touristy verging on tacky, commercial streets of Windsor, Eton High Street is so much more...More

This is a must see if you are in the Windsor Castle area. Wellington is supposed to have said that "It is here that the battle of Waterloo was won!’" in reference to the education and character building that Eton instills.

My wife and took a friend from USA to the school that our son went to. He was amazed with the grounds in which the school stood with all the School Houses and its sports fields etc. For us it was walking thru memory lane...More

Greatly enjoyed the tour, tour guide very knowledgable. Learnt something new. Lack of car parks or signs to them caused issues. Windsor & Riverside train station is only 15 min walk so it’s better to travel by train.

The 1300 students who attend this school are surely blessed with enormous opportunities. The grounds and buildings are spectacular. Impressive looking buildings - preserved nicely or reconstructed with good consistency. Just a nice walk from the Windsor town on a nice day.

We couldn't go through the gates to see Eton, but enjoyed the walk in the nearby area. Lots of quaint shops en route.

Walk over the bridge from Windsor and into the village of Eton, where there are a wonderful collection of shops and cafes, and walk towards the college. Some beautiful buildings can be seen, some dating back to the 15th century. A nice walk.
