Always a great visit - lots of paths, lakeside and woodland walks, children’s play areas and plenty of open grass for kids/dogs to play and run. Car parks do tend to get busy on weekends/holidays but there are options on nearby streets. Highly recommend.

We visited on a nostalgic Sunday morning to see a familiar childhood favourite place. One gate was locked off, the exterior public conveniences had been obviously locked for many years. (Why?) Admittedly, it was winter and there were few plants in the canal garden, although...More

This park is wonderful for all ages. With its gardens and small lakes. Tea rooms and play park. Open green spaces and woodland. And it's free to visit on and good bus route from Leeds city centre.

A large amount of open space but not very well kept. The pond is filthy and the paths are extremely muddy. A decent size and ideal for kids during the summer months.

I grew up just around the corner from Roundhay Park and used to go there regularly for boating and concerts in the summer and sledging and skating (on the Little Lake) in winter. Also playing football on the Soldiers Field, still a lovely part of...More

extremely busy with many families who came out to stretch their legs and freshen up, car parking was difficult as a lot of people wanted to park near to the lake café so they did not want to park further away and walk that little...More

The Park is large enough that you can leave other people behind, and enjoy a walk around the 2 lakes. There are 2 cafes for refreshments. The Mansion, and the Lake Cafe. In the summer Rowing boats are available for hire. There is a “tram”...More

Great place to walk around and enjoy the lovely scenery. Easy to park outside and walk in as the small car park allocated tends to be full all of the time. Lovely lake with plenty of swans and ducks to feed with 50p per bag...More

There are buses from Leeds City Centre, every 10 minutes aprox weekdays. More infrequent evenings - taxis would be under £12 I think from the railway station. You would have to check nearer the date as I think the concert... More

The park’s arena is where the concerts are usually held. It is a flat area with natural sloped sides. That means everyone is much more likely to see the stage than in a flat field. It’s a very large area so I’m sure you’ll... More
