Displays on the textile industry, education (Victorian schoolroom with slates), WWI, suffragettes and a variety of other curious items relating to the area, from old washing machines to tin toys. The people were friendly and helpful, too - definitely worth an hour or two.

This is a small gem of a museum at the bottom of Town street. The WW1 displays of locals who fought in it is excellent. There is also other displays and artifacts of Horsforth its people and its achievments.

Well worth a look, but remember it is run by locals and only open at the weekend. It would be all too easy to criticise but I think they are doing a good job providing nostalgia and local history, its free entry so what do...More

Great little museum - not all areas of a city have there own dedicated museum showing the history of the area. Lots of photos, every changing exhibits and a lovely atmosphere.

If there were a museum for museums this place would be in it, but in the dusty old store room. More of a collection of donated memorabilia - seen better at a car boot sale. I dare say there's a gem or two in there,...More
