The building is beautiful and there is a lot of things to see. Each level has several exhibitions on various subjects. Especially loved the Story of Leeds section.

I was recently visiting Leeds and decided to drop into the museum. I’ve been to many museums in various cities around the UK and although this is not bad, it just doesn’t have as much to see (or information) compared to other big city museums....More

We went because we were shopped out & it was a peaceful place with both traditional & modern artworks. The Restuarant is in a glorious tiled hall but the tables & chairs are utilitarian & spoil the ambience of the beautiful room. The staff were...More

Hi there, thank you for your review. Did you mean the Tiled Hall Cafe at the Art Gallery?

We understand that the facility has to generate income but we missed several potentially interesting areas because they were set up for private entry only. We also understand why the light levels are kept low but some areas were difficult to view, especially for those...More

Small museum with a rather eclectic collection. A lot of it looks like they have been given stuff, so put it in display cases! Lots of interactive things for kids, and some interesting displays, plus it’s free, so definitely worth a visit if you are...More

A small museum with limited displays, disappointing after a recent visit to Birmingham's museum. Wouldn't go back.

We visited here on 31/10/18. As it was during the school holidays there was a pumpkin hunt and you got sweets at the end which was brilliant for my boys. There is a loads on interactive things to do. I wish we had spent longer...More
