This is s very small but tidy place. There is a good range of beers not normally seen locally. Friendly bar staff and a good atmosphere. Try and pop in if you like good beer in unfussy surroundings. Recommended

Very nice pub friendly place to go good ale shame that to many people with dogs let them lay in the middle of the floor you have to climb over them

Popped-in for a quiet pint with a relative from Denmark on Wednesday....stumbled upon an open-mike session - some cracking music, great atmosphere and excellent beer as usual. A great advert for English culture. :)

A great place to go if you like real ale. Friendly bar staff. Good choice of beer to chose from. And great atmosphere.

Called in after a long walk and was made to feel very welcome. Beer was very well kept and were all from northern breweries including Elland & Saltaire. Prices were around £3 for a pint which is what I'd pay for good quality real ale....More
