I’ve visited Lister Park over many years and feel it is perhaps the best I’ve seen it, with sculptures, a great playground, well maintained gardens. The Mughal water gardens are a particular favourite of mine.

Beautifully kept park - glorious flowers and a fossillised tree! Acres of lawn, fountains, boating lake with hundreds of ducks. Had a yummy lunch at the cafe and a free wander round the art galley. It makes me feel relaxed and at peace.

Walks, visit to the Gallery, enjoy the birds and the flowers while having an ice-cream or a cup of coffee and finish in a boat around the lake.

Absolutely stunning park with beautiful views, I definitely recommend going on a hot day and going on one of the paddle boats. It cost £7 for 2 people.

Stunning, well manicured Park. Excellent for a jog or walk. Boat lake with wild water fowl is really nice too. Well worth taking some time to see and to be in a beautiful spot to help you unwind.
