South Street walls, leading into the Cathedral grounds has a number of old world, cafes and gift shops. Whereas East walls gives you up to date restaurants and galleries. If you get a chance, take the walk along the walls.

Walking the wall one passes parks,play grounds, old cottages, town houses, all well kept, very clean, family friendly . The wall has various sections, so one can stop at tea houses, go shopping on the way and continue strolling

It's well worth a stroll around the City Walls as there are great views of the city and several plaques which give information about Chichester's history.
