Booked online and arrived early, queue didn't move for 25 mins as reception staff chatting to one family for the entire time (who didn't even end up playing- as reception manager for a similar venue I can think of at least 5 ways this could have been handled differently so as not to impact paying customers but I'll leave the management to their leadership team, even though they clearly need guidance). Then as we booked with food and our slot was delayed 10 mins from when we arrived at reception (even though we'd been in the queue over 20 mins by this point) we opted to eat before we played to fill this time. After waiting 40 mins for a burger (seriously my local chippy can make this in 5 mins) we went to the counter and were informed they didn't have the correct products to make what we have ordered. In all my years in hospitality work/management, I would have sacked someone on the spot if they were as appalling as all of the staff here. Ps when food finally arrived an hour laterit was abhorrent but on the plus side, it made me feel so sick that I forgot how hungry I was 🙃 Full disclosure I broke the burger patty in half before taking the photo

Expensive, says £15 for two games, doesn’t mention this is per person. We were given no instruction on how to actually use the game and while setting up realised that half the letter keys didn’t work. Game kept shutting off, only played 3 bowls before it broke the first time. Kept miscounting the pins, not a huge deal but for how expensive it was, a bit disappointing. The poor staff that worked there were swamped ,only only saw about 3 workers bless them, so because of this it was filthy, food, empty drink everywhere. Big shame.

We had decided to go out bowling for the night as a family and had pre booked before arriving as we knew being a Saturday night, the place would be busy. Considering that it costs a lot for a family of 5 adults to go bowling we expected that it would be a fun night for all of us. Within two bowls each the lane froze and the pins would not reset, we then spoke to a man on the desk regarding the issue and were told that we would be seen to as soon as possible and that the problem would be sorted. However, we waited well over half an hour for the problem to be fixed before being able to carry on with our game. I understand that this is a busy establishment regardless of the day, but there should be sufficient staff on to ensure that your customers keep their positive experience. One member of staff on each position and one running in between isn't enough to meet the needs of the customers, especially as there seemed to be multiple issues that were the same as ours. We hope that next time provides a positive experience unlike this one.

First time visiting this particular bowling arena. We were put on the end aisle which was great for us. All of us enjoyed the evening, including the two younger children who were with us. Everything was good except the car park was quite small for such a busy place with the other facilities that are on the same strip of land, so it could take a little while to get a free parking space on a Saturday evening.
