The whole of this area us to be chinatown and was vibrant. But over the many years chinatown has got smaller and smaller. Although there is still some Chinese restaurants, shops and a store, it's no where near what it use to be.
Passed through on another trip to Brum. Not my favourite place as the “vibe” is young and is not my cup of tea. There are places to eat and drink so plenty to do.
It is ok and particularly for those on a night out.
We were eating upstairs from this wholly unattractive 1960’s circle of bars and cocktail haunts. It’s brash and loud and thoroughly the opposite of our preferred drinking places. But it is what it is and good luck.
we were very late near to closing but they accomodated us with a lovely window table, we had popadoms to start with the usual dishes on the side, lovely and fresh.

Great to have a walk round, plenty to see and do.
Spoilt for choice for restaurants. amazing to see people drinking on bar stools outside the public houses on a cold winters night in December.
I would definatly go back when in birmingham next.
I was surprised by the choice of restaurants outside our door from the Staycity Apartment's, from Meating to Las Iguanas to our favourite The Dragon Inn where you will get great range of pub food (value for money ) with quick and friendly service.
Visited with some friends for overnight stay stayed at the stay city apartments they were nice bit over priced but worth it for the location. Checked out a few bars and clubs in the Arcadian itself and was nice being by China town. There is...More
