I remember when the conductor had a hair do like those innocent emblems on marmalade jars. Sir Simon learned to conduct while main conductor of the CBSO. His early attempts at Beethoven were overly romantic but he eventually produced a wonderful cycle of all nine...More

Amazing tour of symphony hall and great to see behind the scenes. Very knowledgeable guides, very informative and funny too. For classical music fans this is not yo be missed
