I took a tour round here during Birmingham Heritage Week. Although I had walked around here before, it was so much more interesting with the guide who had expert knowledge of the history of the JQ and those interred here. It would be difficult to...More

I went here after warstone cemetery. It has very mature trees and is very shaded by them and quite atmospheric. Historically its interesting but it could easily be a little creepy at twilight. I am looking forward to visiting in autumn when the leaves turn.

Well worth walking around as its in the centre of Birmingham and very peaceful, it's a step back in time. It would be better if the major burials were shown on a map board.

The peaceful non conformist Victorian cemetery is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Reading the tombstones almost gives on a sense of the people interned there. The place is rich with history. I would definitely visit again.

As I explored this historic cemetery, I felt a creeping sense of dread and unease. Who was that lady walking her dog? Why did she disappear as soon as I said "Hello?" And just WHO was that lone soldier smoking a cigar by the catacombs?...More
