Sounds like a new book but it isn't. I bout 'The Divisive Decade, A History of Caribbean Immigration to Birmingham in the 1950s from the Bookshop in the Foyer. There are books and items for sale at reasonable prices. I had forgotten my password and...More

Since the last library, this is a massive upgrade, good for getting away from the office and finding a peaceful area to work, coffee and cakes available, slightly expensive but can't complain.

The library is great to wander through as the walkways wind through the levels. But the real star is the roof garden - it's well kept and wild all at once, and the views are excellent.

A very impressive building with a viewing platform looking over Birmingham's ever changing skyline. There is no admission charge.

The exterior of the building, which is shared by the library and the Birmingham Rep theatre is very modern, almost like it's been made of Lego bricks festooned with looped Christmas decorations. A real visual statement. The interior is even more impressive, with sweeping escalators...More

Went to a convention and the library was just by it and good to see and visit - the exterior is striking - inside a fully functional library with an OK roof view but not a destination to visit really
