I'm not sure if it's still open or not, I'd heard it was closing unfortunately. The website will tell you. But if it's open, it's one hell of a screen! Just walking up the stairs and having to tilt your head back as it wraps...More

Loved this cinema when it was IMAX then it changed to the Giant Screen then it was downhill from there. Nevertheless really sad it has gone, saw Avatar here in 3D and shall never forget it.

I was amazed by the size of screen in 3D. Shame it's being discontinued. Comfy clean and good value for money. Easy to find and park.

The problem with the cinema is that it's in the wrong place and that's why they couldn't sustain the IMAX equipment costs. With HS2 building it's station across the road in the future this place will rock again but for the time being it's just...More

This fabulous cinema offers an overwhelming experience of cinema. Cinema which surrounds and even overwhelms you with total involvement. The university owners provide the second city with a first city experience. So in their wisdom they are shutting it down! Second rate city next? Tenth...More

The screen is huge and it's not any more expensive than normal cinemas, also they don't show trailers so less waiting for films to start. Only downside was that the 3d glasses are a bit small to see the while screen!
