Although the art on show at the time did not meet my fancy, it did provide something to talk about, have fun with and discuss. The building is lovely and beautiful, the glass elevator at the side of the staircase is brilliant - definitely travel...More
We had spent a great weekend in Birmingham doing several tours and being fed lots of information, so it was lovely to finish up in the Ikon and just wander around and try and think for ourselves what it all meant! The art work is...More
A fascinating structure, testefully restored with the staircase and lift set into a recess on the outside of the building - shame about the contents - on the occasion that we visited, it seemed full of pretentious twaddle - a pair of shoes and socks...More

great gift shop, fab food in the cafe, always has a thought-provoking exhibition - got us talking anyway! - lovely building - in a quiet area too, surrounded by a great variety of high quality restaurants
