The area is lined with high panels with a lot of building work going on behind them making it difficult to walk around and explore the area at the moment.

Very busy when we visited because of the commonwealth games handover. Concert on at the time. Being redeveloped but still a nice area.

There was a concert underway when we visited to welcome back the commonwealth competitors and to handover the games to Birmingham in 2022. Great party atmosphere

We had put Centenary Square on our list of places to visit, but what a surprise that this square had been transferred into one huge building site. Hopefully it will regain its beauty soon and everyone will be able to enjoy it again.

Oh dear one of my favourite places in Birmingham and now most of it is out of bounds undergoing some sort of renovation. It looks major and could take a very long time. I do hope not I'm missing it already

This square is located in Birmingham city centre and it is close to the main train station, the hyatt hotel, the ICC, the canals and the biggest library in the UK.

Spent sometime walking round Centenary Square. Found it very busy with the Christmas Markets and the Wheel and Ice rink. Makes for a pleasant 2 hours shopping and sightseeing around the area and with a nice walk to the ICC and the Canals. Big rebuilding...More
