Just spent a lovely few hours at the Tyseley Locomotive work open day, it was well worth the £10 entry fee to mix with the live steam locomotives and to see the various ones in rebuild.

Joined the trip at derby, been with vintage trains before but decided to go premier dining this time,and definitely worth it. Both breakfast and evening dinner superb, staff wonderful, couldn't fault this trip at all. Can't wait to for the next one.

In 2016 I travelled on the Shakespeare Express from Stratford to Birmingham and return. Wonderful experience being pulled by a steam train. One way we travelled facing forward. The return journey facing back. Everybody had an opportunity to view the steam engine on the curves.....such...More
