An ideal first stop when visiting Birmingham. A great collection of art is on show as well as plenty of historical artefacts. I recommend the tea room for a quiet pot of tea and a slice of cake.

The museum offers pre-raphaelite tours and these really are excellent. So interesting, and Birmingham's collection is stunning.

Love the museum - its a quiet sanctuary to enjoy the exhibits and a cup of well brewed tea within a historic setting. Helpful and courteous staff add to the experience.

No display of natural history sort of display. May not be appealing to the younger mind but I notice there is a colourful corner leading to the cafeteria.
