I really liked it here , a mainly military museum with shop and cafe . Free parking and admission a massive bonus , a must if you like winston churchill and are interested in india millitary and its history.

First visit to the Stratford Armouries since the refurbishment, sorry to say very disappointed with the new look. Gone is the quaint quirkiness of the place. Most of the antiques/vintage items have been replaced with reproduction and the cosy tearoom replaced with a large cafeteria....More

There is an interesting collection of exhibits on show at the Armouries including the tail of a WWII Wellington bomber and an interesting display ablut Churchill. Also next door is the newly opened Timeless Delights tea room and interior with some really interesting shopping booths....More

The museum is great but i 'm reviewing the lovely tea room and their great cream teas. I went with a group this time because it a lovely place to visit and a hidden gem.
