A lovely open green area on the bank of the River Avon adjacent to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Plenty of places to sit, lovely plants, great Shakespeare-related statues, lots of boats to see, some of them serving reasonably priced drinks and snacks.

Canal meets river and the iconic theatre looks down on it all. Statues of Shakesepeare, Lady M, Falstaff, Hamlet, Henry V. The Tramway Bridge marks the old pre-railway line to Moreton in Marsh. And, my favourites... the two beautiful elegsant steel swans above the fountain.
