I've been going to Elswick Pool since my daughter (now nearly 4) was a baby. This week she had her first 'proper' swimming lesson there and absolutely loved it. It must not close.

I could not have said it better myself. I believe this is the best pool in Newcastle, had many happy times here with the family and my son was taught how to swim here by great instructors.

Elswick is a great local swimming pool. Is has a shallow area perfect for small kids and learners and a good size pool. The facilities include a sauna and steam room. The pool is also accessible and staff friendly.
