Hi Mary-Ane, thanks very much for taking the time to submit this great review and rating, it is very rewarding for a small business like ours to get such great feedback and a real boost for the hard working staff. Best wishes, Mark.

This was our last port of call on our middle night of three in Newcastle when visiting for a film preview weekend. It certainly is the place to go for real ale fans like us, especially with prices a lot lower than we’re used to...More

We'd been to the split chimp once years ago and always remembered it. Coming back we can see why - it's a cool little place, nestled within a railway arch. There is a wide selection of drinks, and friendly knowledgeable service!

Found this place by accident, and fell in love with it's craft ales. Well worth the visit and they have Perry there as well. Very cool.

Visited the split chimp before the match on Saturday and didn’t disappoint. Quite busy but got served quickly, opting for a pint of the peanut butter stout (orgasmic I must say). Good vibe in the place with friendly people out for a good time. Love...More
